Comments: I saw the notice on VPL so I thought I would come in and drop an application. The site is looking well so far and the activity, especially with how many are looking to join the staff team, is great. I have never seen a site use "VIPs" before and it seems like a nice fresh idea brought to the table, considering how you see the same trends going on through the VP industry.
Why should you have VIP privileges?: It has been 5 years since I began working in the pet site industry. Sites I have worked for: Sutopets, Seropets, Herupets, and others. My current, but very very slow jobs: Cyncrose (head mod), Kalacreo (head mod), and HeruNovus (mod). The first two are in temp forum, and HN is currently in a transition of a new owner.
Hours: During school days I get on from around 6pm until 11pm. During the summer or my days off I am on from around 2pm till 2am the next day.

- My Story Writing Style -

Chapter 1 "Anywhere But Time"
Why do the days linger around when the snow falls and the air chills? It has always been that way, even if you like snow, possibly due to the shortening of the days. But even the night didn't appear to be the night, for the snow would put off such a glow, causing the night to give off its own crystal shine. The house perched next to the lake sat dark. Not night dark, dark dark. Completely invisible to the human eye. The snow was glaceed all over it, untouched. But there was something siring. Within the house sat a man who was staring bleakly out of the window.
A grin was slapped across his face, almost as if painted sloppily while the paint had begun to drip down. It never accord to him that this day would come. And here it is. Oh, he knew this wouldn't hurt one bit, and the man kept repeating that again and again inside of his mind. Too much trouble had been caused and now it was his turn. Finally.
Glancing down at the cup of tea sitting on the side table next to him, nothing seemed to be able to stop the moment. Not like anything wanted too. And with that, he picked up the cup and inhaled every drop. The poison would seep into his blood, stopping his system for good. Seconds turned into minutes.
"Now what..." Standing up, the man walked out of the room and into the kitchen, dodging everything in his path like a ghost. Once in the kitchen, he spun the poison bottle around in his fingers. "Water, snake venom...." Water made up most of the vial. This would never kill him, even if he swallowed the bottle, literally.
Brushing his brown hair out from over his eyes, the poison was trashed. "Hello?" He had picked up the phone before it even rang.
"Akrua, you are up, as expected. How did that vial treat you? Ha! You wouldn't be here answering the phone then if it did you over, huh?" The stove clock blinked 1:23am, and yet he sounded as bright as the sun.
Akrua grunted, sitting down at the dinning room table. "This is no laughing manner. Out of all the people, I would expected more of you. It was you, anyway, that 'held my hand' so why would you underestimate me? Snake venom and some other s***? You could let my blood run for a week and I would still be alive." It was all true. Akrua isn't a man to exaggerate, every minute didn't matter to him. Each was flatter and more meaningless then the next. Not like he could go anywhere but time.
"Well, I have another idea, so I will be stopping over." Before Akrua could put his two cents in, the dial tone clicked on. His friend had hung up. Not that he was really a friend. Akrua had known the man for 30 years since he was 70. It was even harder to say who took care of who.
Headlights peered around the bend, piercing the snow and bouncing off of trees. The red Corvet plowed through the piled snow and quickly made its turn into the driveway of the chilling house. The lake gave one last glimmer before the car flicked off, and the world around was back to its snow-lit state.
Picking up the sound of the crunching snow, Akrua slowly swung open the door. "That was quick." This comment caused the guest to laugh. It appeared to echo across the lake, mocking the still night. "Come in Lucid... come in..." Akrua turned on his heels and went in, Lucid right behind him.
"By God! Your insane!" As Lucid walked in, the house was just as cold as the night behind them, if not colder. And if it didn't make matters worse, he couldn't see!
